PROGRAM OF THE VISIT :
Sainte-Mère-Eglise : Discover the famous village of the film "The Longest Day", and its history during the night of June 5 to 6, 1944, with the first drops of parachutists.
- Utah Beach : One of the 5 landing beaches, Utah Beach is also known as "the beach of success". The D-Day landing will be a smooth one, and 23,000 GI's trampled on the Normandy beach at the end of D-Day.
- Carentan : Bloody fighting and attacks took place in Carentan before leading to its liberation on June 12, 1944. The paratroopers' mission was to liberate the city, a key point in connecting the troops landed at Omaha Beach.
- La Pointe du Hoc : The German Battery of Pointe-du-Hoc is a strategic point for the Allies to take. Located at the top of a hill, the battle will be tough before it gets there.
- Omaha Beach : Also known as "Bloody Omaha", Omaha Beach is the second beach in the American sector. Find out how and why June 6, 1944 on Omaha Beach turned into a disaster.
- The American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer : 9387, this is the number of soldiers who will be buried forever in this cemetery. Share a time of remembrance and keep in mind all those men who died for our Freedom.
